About

At the heart of Tali Plotnik’s work is a simple belief: the body holds an innate intelligence — a map toward restoration, balance, freedom, and the unfolding of potential.

B.Sci.Hons (Physiotherapy), M.Sc.Medicine (Pain Management), Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner

Movement has always been my first language.

As a child, dance gave me a way to connect with something deeper than words — a stillness beneath the noise of life. That early connection to the body stayed with me and eventually led me to study physiotherapy.

Early in my clinical work, I sensed the limits of the conventional medical model — often focused more on fixing isolated problems than understanding the whole person. I was drawn to something more integrated.

That search led me to the Feldenkrais Method, where I encountered a different way of learning: one rooted in sensation, curiosity, and adaptability. Through thousands of hours of somatic enquiry, I saw how the body and brain can change — not through force, but through awareness.

Later, I completed a Master of Science in Medicine (Pain Management) at The University of Sydney, which deepened my understanding of pain as a complex, lived experience — shaped not just by the body, but also by the nervous system, environment, and the stories we carry.

This combination of rigorous clinical training and embodied practice now shapes my approach.

Today, my work sits at the intersection of physiotherapy, neuroscience, somatics, psychology, and pain science.

I support people who feel stuck in patterns of tension, pain, or disconnection — often after injury, stress, or long-term discomfort.

Together, we explore how the body holds these patterns and how movement, awareness, and nervous system regulation can support change.

Healing in this work isn’t about fixing parts — it’s about supporting the whole system to feel safe, adaptable, and at ease.

People often describe not just relief, but a growing sense of connection to and confidence in their body — through a clearer understanding of how it works and how to care for it.

In a world that often demands speed and performance, I’m interested in slowing down and restoring the conditions that support calm, agency, and meaningful change.

“Tali knows the body more than anyone else. She works with different areas of the body to affect the whole and bring a sense of joy and wellness into my everyday life.”
